Cryogenics Lab and Ice Block
This is the Cryogenics Laboratory where Frankenstein's monster was rejuvenated after being frozen in Arctic ice. The three cryogenic vaults (rear center) were fitted with thin lead panels, which the monster pounded through upon awakening. Pete Geyer built the block of acryllic "ice" on the table, which contains a full-size replica of the monster created by Greg Cannom. This split-level set was 2000 square feet and featured a raised office and observation theatre (right rear), a raised corridor for walk-and-talks, and two emergency exits to match the exterior location.

This set was later transformed into an apartment complex with elevators for a live wolf chase scene.
